An Attachment-Informed Approach
I offer online couples counselling focusing on how we attach to each other and ourselves. Currently in training, I use an attachment-informed approach to help you decode relational patterns and foster a deeper, more secure bond from the comfort of your own space.
Areas of Focus
Communication
We work on breaking negative cycles of interaction, helping you move from defensive reactions to empathetic listening and clear expression of needs.
Rebuilding Trust
Whether following a specific rupture or a gradual drift, we look at the root causes and work towards emotional transparency and renewed safety.
Emotional Distance
Understanding the 'withdraw-pursue' dynamic through an attachment lens allowed us to bridge the gap and rediscover intimacy.
Common Questions
Who is couples counselling for?
Couples counselling is for any two people in a relationship who are facing challenges, feeling disconnected, or simply wanting to strengthen their bond. Whether you are in a crisis or want to explore your dynamic with more depth, this space is for you.
What is an attachment-informed approach?
It means we look at the patterns formed in your earliest relationships and how they influence how you connect today. By understanding these "blueprints," we can foster empathy and create new ways of relating that feel safer and more secure.
What can we expect from our sessions?
Sessions are usually 50 minutes long and provide a calm, non-judgmental space. We will work collaboratively to identify the "cycles" you get stuck in and explore the underlying emotions that drive them.
What issues do you commonly work with?
I work with a range of relationship complexities, including communication breakdowns, loss of intimacy, navigating conflict, life transitions, and healing from betrayal or trust issues.
